RE: New CMP Cessna 182 .52 size
Thanks for that info. I am starting to build my CMP Cessna 182 Skylane 50 also with the OS FSa-56 Engine and it sounds like it will have enough power for it. I was a little worried it may not because I believe mine will also be a little heavy because I am going with an extra 6v battery pack along with Navigation and Landing lights. I am also installing the Robert 654 nose gear. I have bought all new metal hardware because of the problems with the Rudder and plastic hardwear I have heard about. I will be using a Pull-Pull system for the Rudder and metal clevises with steel control horns. No plastic if I can help it. I know it is overkill but also a peace of mind. I went with the 2-3/4 wheels. Also it will have the Sullivan glow system. All these little add ons add up. I don't know what I should use for a prop. It will mostly be flown as a Sunday flyer. Nothing to fancy. No snap rolls but a few loops and grass takeoffs and landings. Some of you guys must have some advise so lets hear it. Thanks, Dave.
