Our flying field is situated adjacent to a Naval training base and we have always had interference problems from day one with all previous radio systems. All of us now fly 2.4 Ghz and for 2 years now have not had even one "hit" or failsafe issue.

That's an excellent endorsment for 2.4. We have had a similar situation with an AF base down the road a few miles.
For those in your club that have made the switch to 2.4, has it been to Futaba, or Spektrum/JR ? Just wondering which is best suited for flying jets ? ? ?
