The spraying thing is pretty basic. Spray through the motor untill the cleaner comes out clean. Another thing you might want to consider is getting a comm stick.. you stick it in where the brush is, and spin the motor. This cleans your comm.

And remember.. Motor cleaner = Brake cleaner
