Anyone tried a speed brake on top of the fuse, like an Su27
No, but tried an airbrake on the bottom of the smaller Bobcat 50 (no flaps).
Makes the speed on approach much easier to control, introduces a small amount of pitch up.
Full deflection is almost 90 degrees & I've since drilled holes in it. - John.
