No, there is no printed manual delivered with the model. All I have is the downloaded manual from the FEJ website - you are right it is not very helpful. I have also downloaded the SM F15C manual to get some more generalised advice - for example SM's manual has a useful schematic diagram for the fuel system.
The manual mentioned above between Peter/Stefan is a draft manual which Stefan is producing in German and English languages.
This build thread has some useful ideas which people can think about and copy if they wish. I also have the review of the FEJ F15 which was published in a magazine last year.
I think we all have pretty much the same problem as you.
