Quick question on this as I have only just got round to working on it. I have got the diode installed and all was well. I push up the stick and the tank recoils and the gun fire sound goes off. I then thought I would add a Tam recoil unit into the picture as per a previous post on the wiring diagram and it goes a bit wrong. The recoild does work and the gun sound goes off in unison. The problem is that the tank itself recoils three times and appears to be breakdancing
. The Tam recoil is wired into the two smoke unit wires and also into the fire signal wire.
Have I done something wrong or is this a problem using this mod and a Tam recoil. I am waiting for an HL recoil unit from Bill at RCcommand but it is probably somewhere over the atlantic (or stuck in customs) at the moment but suspect it will behave in the same manner looking at how it works.
