Default RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD

Gentlemen

I have found over the years that its practice primarily what makes one take off and land one's model perfectly.

My little 48" composite 109F I have, was a most difficult model to take off and land due to the gear being in the scale location (under the fuse/wing joint and over powered), but with practice I can take it off and land it better than the CMP right now. Also my small one doesn't nose over due to the landing gear positioned close to the LE and having the proper forward rake.

I have flown the CMP 5 times for around 15 minutes total time right now and feel really comfortable with it. On my small 109F, its my second airframe due to me turning to a gyro to keep the model straight on take offs. Worked for me most of the time. Except when I turned up the gain and it over corrected the heading and crashed.

Practice, practice,........... to eliminate anxiety, the killer.

My other wing should be done in a few weeks. hopefully
