Default RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

ORIGINAL: 3DAP

Six Pack what is your weight? Do you have a smoke set up in? I plan to put a smoke tank 12 oz and plumbing in.That will bring up the weight at least another pound. That may change your landing characteristics (speed). I do not know what mine weighs yet. I have not had to put any extra balsa in (yet). This plane is so stable, I really wonder how far back you can go before you start to adversely affect the pucker factor. Keep in mind my engine is located a little over a 1/16 futher forward than manual says. That may change mine from yours. The only differnce I could tell is a little less wing rock with cg forward. And a touch more of down needed inverted. So just fly it dude. I hope mine lasts another season, I am getting way to ballsy. It is just so stable to fly.

3DAP
So I have :

1. DA 50 w/ CF prop / Spinner / ES Composites Pipe / KS Stainless header
2. Hitec 5955 servos x 5 and a Hitec MG on the throttle, manual choke
3. Kanavan Tires / Titanium Axles / White Rose Tail Wheel
4. 3 Fromeco 2600 mili amp LI ions, 3 Sahara Regs
5. Fromeco wolveriene switch / badger switch / 42% products opto kill
6. Power Box Smoke Pump, Extra 25 ml smoke tank
7. Got the pilot / Dash installed as well

- All up weight 18.25 LBS, it still flys like a fomey even with a full smoke tank the only difference is more elevatio needed for 3D manuvers ( but I think I was nose heavy to begin with, this may change with my CG farther back.

- Landing; A few times I landed the plane on a full gas tank and smoke tank landing speed was slightly increased but no bad habbits. Fuel is about 6 LBS / Gallon @ 50 CC onboard this ups the weight of the aircraft to 18.34 LBS fully fueled w/ smoke oil.

Thanks for the reply I will fly it and see what it does.
