Ken I would not worry about it to much, that happens a lot sometimes with new posters. On that airplane my gut instinct tells me it an MDS engine and Gee Bee floats which is why it is cheap but even at that price whatever it is may be to much, definately not worth the cost of shipping an assembled airplane around the country.

If you are new and need a trainer you are better off starting on wheels not floats. That can come later.
