Welcome to 2.4ghz. By choosing it, you've given up the ability to pick from a wide variety of third-party receivers. That's because each manufacturer's 2.4ghz implementation is proprietary. There's no industry standard, such as PPM (FM). That will never change. You've only got one choice in brands, Airtronics. And because Airtronics has the weakest lineup of 2.4ghz receivers, you only have one receiver choice, their 8-channel. As time goes by Airtronics will introduce additional models for you to choose from, but for now... you're stuck.
