I use a McDaniel 4 cylinder glow driver. The Mcdaniel units work very well and they use a 4 cell battery. I have a big Lithium Ion battery and a regulator. 4 (or 5) plugs draw a lot of current. Makes starting simple, Just switch on and start.
Yes, the 22x10 was to much, I now have a 21x8 and it seems about right. I flew it today but did not have my tach with me. I will try again tomorrow.
