How much did the bare wing end up weighing?

How much weight did you save in the tail? Were you able to decrease nose weight as a result?

I think the wing weighs 12 lbs now. A bit heavy, and I think I could do it lighter if I have to. I would like to add the flaps, as they add to the scale look and of course helps the lift and drag during landing.

I did not use the built-up tail that I made, so the only weight I saved, was the difference between the weight of the engines. The Simjet 1200's are quite light. I was able to decrease the nose weight a little as well.

I hope to fly my A-10 next weekend at our 2nd winter meeting. But the forecasted low temperature might keep me at home where it's warm. (Forecast says 6-10 degrees below freezing point celcius)[sm=52_52.gif] I have done some adjustments to the gear retraction sequence, and I hope to be able to retract the gear fully this time.
