Just use the USB and make sure you're camera shows up in the directory.

THEN... get Movie Maker running and find the menu that opens videos and
click on IMPORT video. When is asks for the video location browse to you're
drive E, or F or whatever and click on that then ok....

That will convert it to something Movie Maker can deal with...Work's every time.
