You will be OK as long as you don't fly the plane upside down. The clunk will never fall to the nipple side of the tank. Being a B-29, I doubt you will be flying inverted. However, if you decide to do a loop, you will need to insure to have enough centrifugal force over the top of the loop to keep the fuel slung out to the clunk. Steep left or right bank turns should present no problems.
