Default RE: Need Suggestions...

I want to get involved with rc trucks but i don't know much about them. I have been flying rc airplanes for a short time and a big difference i have found between battery powered and nitro is that performance with a battery decreases over time, so i'm guessing that will pretty much be the same with trucks as with airplanes. So i guess my question is what do you suggest would be a solid truck to start with?
The up beat to the nitro in the car or trucks is that it has a much longer life than the battery, down fall if you want to call it that is electric is much faster [] Another up beat thing to the Nitro is you can run virtually none stop without bad side effects. Not so with electrical. A well tuned Nitro doesn't need to stop and cool down like a High powered electric truck and the big plus is you get to HEAR IT RUN Electric cars and trucks to me is like watching NASCAR on mute. The roar of even that little engine can be inspiring far beyond the visual of a fast moving toy [:-] Good luck with your new adventure into the ground version of RC

HAPPY RC'en

oops [X(] I almost forgot there are batteries on the nitro for the TX and RX/ servos, but they last for hours if you use the right combination. Without ill effects [&o]
