Interesting. I agree with the point that going to 2-cylinder 200cc is probably a better option for many reasons (easier to cool, lighter, etc,). This is if you are a descernign pilot with cash.
I think, however, this was a VERY cheap way for DL to produce a 200cc engine without a need to design a brand new piston / cylinder combination. They didn't even need to do major modifications to the crankcases! Brilliant business move, especially given the times. You will shell out ~$2,700 for 2W-212 or close to $2,000 for ZDZ-210. If $999 price tag is right, this could be a huge winner...
f I were running the DL business, this is exactly the way I would go as welland then consider a 2-cyl 200cc engine...
