have been working on the INNOVATOR problems and SHARING exchanges with other users. It seems I have PIN POINTED exactly where the problem is : I get the WHOLE ENCHILADA from this helicopter except that it won't ARM THE MOTOR, which is the last step before the activation and flight.
The battery will not charge UP further than 12.3 V
the battery cutoff (no fly) is set in the factory at 12.2
the battery is supposed to go up to 12.9 V
this battery was up (temporarily for some minutes only) at 12.5 and then sunk down fast to 12.47V
Conq. the factory has wrapped ( and I got it ! [>:]) either one defective battery OR one defective charger.
Now : y'all may ask : WHY IS THIS FOOL SO WRAPPED UP IN THIS INNOVATOR ????????
well: from all the advertising it seems that THIS would be the instrument that would SET ME FREE to move into FF, turns and NOSE IN
yes, I DO all that in the SIM.......this heli was supposed to be my real life SIM because from what I plainly see, it IS STABLE.
but if the motor won't arm, youse got NUTTIN.....

p.s. today at the RC field, I really wished y'all could have seen my EXPERT GURU, settig up a BLADE 400 out of the box, and doing the most outrageous 3-D with it WITH THE WIND BLOWING UP TO 30 or 35MPH definitely not less than 25 mph,,, not gusting, but STEADY...... this fellow is INCREDIBLE ......Mr. MARKCONROY

Rick...it appears that the "real life sim" is a TURKEY out of the box. I think your first inclination to send it back or sell it on E-Bay would be an "on target" option. Do you remember Cadillac's attempt in 1978 at the 8/6/4 engine that would only use the cylinders required under different loads??? It was an attempt at fuel economy and computerization technology in the high end automotive industry. It FAILED miserably as predicted by myself and any other savvy mechanic in the day. The innovator is the Cadillac 8/6/4 being high tec, high priced , and a failure according to ANY thread you read.....man, I feel for you. Use those two stock HBKII's as a FF sim but I don't recommend nose in, they're just too unstable.[]
