RE: FS One by Hangar 9
Hey leadtongue,
I bought the hanger pack after upgrading to 1.1. I actually deleted and reinstalled the the whole thing. While I'm not sure if that is an actual requirement, it worked well for me and now I'm up and running. I've been told that realistically the Trex 450 flies very similar to the B400, which I hope is the case since I have a B400 and am practicing on the Trex on FSOne. I have been watching the forums for a while and Scott is a wealth of knowledge. The mods below are a combo of Scott and Kraig's input. Using these, the Trex flies much better and more realistic than the heli after fresh install. And it does fly very similar to the B400.
Thanks Scott and Kraig, you guys are awesome.
Also, the head setup on the B400 (can't speak for any other helis, since I don't have experience with them) is VERY important. I found out the smuck who set mine up didn't do it right, changed it yesterday morning, what a difference, much more stable. It was so off, even one of the flybar paddles had a -3deg angle, no wonder it wasn't flying very well.
