RE: Braking
Hello Keith,
I have the poor man's Pletties, (Axi 5330 F3A/Dualsky 11T/12T), but do use the jeti ESC.
FWIW, with a 20.5x14 APC, I set my lowest throttle position,as one throttle curve, with the following brake settings:
Manual Setting.
Dead time 0.2 secs.
Initial brake 30%
End brake 40%
Brake speed0.5 sec.
This lowest throttle position, is set on the Tx such that a/ it arms the ESC,and b/it is low enough to ensure 0rpm.
Then, via a switch, I set a second throttle curve, identical to the first, except that the low point is just a bit higher, so that switching it in sets the lowest possible idle(so low that you have to "start" the prop initially by moving the throttle stick slightly)
Then I fly mostly on this second curvebut, when I can be bothered, I can switch in the braked throttle curve as requiredlike you I find it handy for that same P09 manouevre...
The beauty of the jeti programmer, and its jeti box, is that you can play with the %age brake settings at the field, to get the degree of braking that might seem to best suit your individual taste...
