I bought my first one, until I saw it was just a piece of wire. Now I make them out of pushrod wire left over. I also grind a flat spot where the set screw holds it. That way it doesn't slip and I know where to turn it to align the set screw to remove the cowl. By making your own, you can put the 90º at the perfect place for your particular cowling. I put a bit of nylon pushrod sleeve around the rod to minimize the vibration effects against the fiberglass cowling.
