Default RE: Hangar 9 Showtime 90

Big Hog,

I didn't know Hangar 9 quit making the Showtime, it is really a good flying airplane. I know two people who have one. the first one "had" a Saito 125 in it and the second one has a Saito 100 in it. If I were building the plane, I'd use a motor that is more powerfull than the Saito 100, either a Saito 115, a Saito 125 or a YS110. IMHO, I don't think you would be happy with the plane if you put a G20 in it. The motor is just too heavy for the power it puts out, not to mention the weight of the extra battery for the ignition. The Showtime is a "semi-pattern" plane that flies better, the lighter it is.

Good luck with your plane. Let us know how it turns out...
