for your information I do know what goes into building such a model. I built a Y/A F18 a few years ago, and did spend about $7000 not including RAM 1000 turbine. I do know what research and engineering is required to build a such a model as yours. For your information I have been in the aircraft maint. field for 32 yeras, and typed rated in a Cessna Citation Bravo. I'm just inquiring to see if anyone is willing to spend that much on a jet these days. If you can afford it, more power to you. I do agree with the one gentleman that had said there are some that really get caught up in the moment of building a jet at times, and do charge more than they can afford. Is there really that much more research and such that goes into a $15000 model versus a $5000 one? If there is it's not much. In my fleet right now I have a JHH A7,$5000 including turbine, a TAMJETS A4, $1000 for just the kit, a Y/A F16, $2200 (no turbine), and a Beech Staggerwing,$2000, so that adds up to alittle over $10,000 for 4 airplanes. So as far as your statement of I don't know how to open my wallet is far from the truth. I personally just won't spend the big ticket money anymore. Just like the one gentleman said on here, does your F4 fly any better than say the TJ A4 I have? I know one thing, they all make the same sound when they crash.
