Behotec J66 and it is SLOW to spool, so slow that you need to decide on a go-around on the down wind leg.
That is
not a correct statement, in fact the 66 and all the Behotec engines can have their acceleration and deceleration times adjusted in 4 different ramps. The
165 and
180 are set to
3.7s and the
66 can be set to
2.8s
If the engine is not spooling up that fast then it has to be investigated and repaired if necessary. I encourage you to return it for an inspection.
