I'm contemplating buying/building a new home, and one bedroom will be my shop (no questions asked). Right now we live in a two bedroom apartment and one bedroom is the shop (full bath and walk-in closet), but it already feels small. I'm hoping that better planning and wall mounted workbenches will keep the new room from feeling small too. What kind of suggestions do any of you have for flooring, walls and lighting? The lot will be too small for an outbuilding.
