I just picked up one of these planes and have started to put it together. Using a DL50. Reading this thread I couldn't figure out if the DL50 causes the bird to end up nose heavy or not. Wondering just where to mount the batteries. No sense in putting the ignition battery up front if the bird comes out nose heavy. Also regarding the muffler. Not sure if you know this or not but Jtec just recently came out with a pitts muffler for the DA/DL which allows the muffler to fit in the cowl of the TFP51. This muffler is very narrow up front at the header. If you are looking for the most narrow foot print pitts muffler this is the one to buy. Thanks, Jerry.
