RE: CMPro Extra 330L 50 size
Well mine is not usable at all like i said i bought it crashed well upon gettign it home and inspecting it I discovered it was at least its seconnd crash on the first they accidently epoxied the wing tube in place off center and instead of tapping on the phenolic tube to get it to release they just cut the wing tube down so it only sticks about an 1.5 maybe 2 inches into the wing. deginetly not going to work with the kind if flyin I do.
On another note I have had a few of these planes and found that some of the problems I have had were with the throws or rather lack there of. On my old 80 inch edge I had to remove the rudder and stabs cut the tri stock off and rebuild it so I actually got a little more then 45 degree of throw. I had one of the big name pilots look at it for me while he was out here for an event and explained to me about dead area in the throws.
Now to the current time a friend of mine has one ofthese on electric and did the same with the surfaces and it flies incredible , well that and a few other tricks like eliminating the silly carbon tube for the elevator. So thats why i picked up the crashed one I couldnt bring myself to mod a brand new palne. but it will be a little bit as I have to rebuild the 2 formers for the gear and do the landing gear plante repair first and still deciding whatmotor to use. Been thinking about using the moster power 60 motor on the nitro website as the little extra weight out fornt will help offset the servos at the tail but not sureyet
