RE: Servo size

Go with the Magnum XL 91 RFS engine and the Airtronics 94102z standard servos in your plane. The deals at Hobby People is very nice right now and you should be well please with those components in your 60 size model.
JR is the brand that has different polarity (in the transmitter) but it should be a non-issue. The new Z-connector servos work with any receiver that will accept servos with z-connectors. (I have Hitec, Airtronics, and Futaba servos all plugged into my Airtronics receiver in one of my planes.)
I bought 4 of those metal gear servos for future use but they are larger and heavier than what I'd want in a 60 size model.
