I went through all my manuals and didn't see anything on programming the ESC. I did notice my ESC doesn't power down slowly when the battery gets low. The heli all but falls out of the sky so to speak. So this is certainly a problem that I need to check in to. However I didn't notice any clunking noise, she just powers down way too quick. If I find out anything I'll let you know, but if I have to I'll try a different ESC, perhaps my spare for the Blade 400, which works quite well for shut down and better start up as well because it has a soft start.
