Hi will the Hitec HS-311 BE OK will be using 6v instead of 4.8. The futaba 3003 servo specifications are 44.3 oz/in @ 4.8V and the Hitec is 51 oz/in if I use 6v and 42 oz/in @ 4.8
Yep they'll be fine. I'm using HS311's for the flaps on my harmon rocket. They're not going to be quite as speedy or precise as the spektrum DS821's I use for the rest of the flight surfaces, but the 821's are overkill - I just happened to have them so I used them. And at AU$60 for the DS821's and AU$15 for the HS311's the Hitec's are much better value for basic use.
