What would be refreshing to see is a model that is designed to accomodate the exhaust.
When aeroworks released the .46 size Edge 540, the design included a tunnel at the bottom of the firewall - intent was that the "Baseline" engine would be a Thunder Tiger .46. So that engine could be installed completely stock with no modifications to the plane. Also allowed the possiblity for other stock mufflers.
There are a few planes out there where the designers thought ahead a bit. But most are still designing in 4-c mode - just let the exhaust hang out of the cowl.
