Hey again Bob,
IF you do get an on-board camera [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X7duVyhFp8&feature=related]this[/link] is the standard of footage you will get - this is using a FlycamOne. There is a newer model [link=http://hobby-lobby.com/video-camera.htm]flycamOne2[/link] out now! It has sound and slightly better resolution also - but the main benefit that I see is that the lens is adjustable so you can tilt it for the way you mount it under helis! They are around US$99. That is the bad news.[

] The good news is that if you wait long enough they will come out with a FlycamOne3 [which will probably be US$120[:@]] I got into the Big Lama scene 'cause I am after a stable platform from which to take a short aerial video snippit of campus where I work to include in existing promo video.......

(no sound required) and I couldn't fly my DF#4 with enough stability to make it work well.

P.S. These on-board cameras use a SD card to store images (and sound) for uploading to comp after heli has completed recon mission - no need to bother Diane when you need a videographer.
