Funny you should say that Crank - look what arrived today thanks to GlockGuy. I would love to tackle a Shrike, with balsa fuselage, if I didn't have a hundred and one other projects to finish. It would be an interesting challenge. This fork is destined for the AMT on a large vintage sailplane.

Was this an American Aircraft Modeler cover
Rusty. It's an MAN cover, February 1973. Your photo is a little small to be certain but I don't see a Polecat. The orange one is a TV Mustang. Polecat shown below.
