I understand the necessity of metal gearing on these big airplanes. Those I mentioned should fit the bill then, as they are metal geared.
I really like the SV26 also, especially with the muffler in the rear. I assume that you would mount the engine upside down so that the exhaust is pointing down, which would keep the scale looks a bit better. Looks like the engine will fit within the 1/4 scale Cub cowling with minimal hole making, mostly for the needed cooling required. And the pricing is very good for such a large engine. I may break down and just order one now in case the price decides to go up.

I would imagine that I will need special fuel tubing, connectors and tank for a gas engine. Any leads on where I should go for these?
One thing I am going to do is purchase a ready made fiberglass cowling for this airplane. I'm not really happy with the ABS one that is supplied with the kit. And whomever had it before botched the trimming leaving a gap on the bottom that cannot be glued together. It would take some patching to do so.
I am going to sit on all this overnight and make a decision tomorrow on the engine and servos.
