RE: Wing Skins
The wing is actually 9.875" x 47.75" when I'm done with it, or when the end-user is done with it. That includes the leading edge. That's without the tips.
As I said, the extra is there for the process of the production of the lay up.
While I have documented a lot of what I have done with pictures and videos, I'm not going to be doing that for the sheeted wings. I put a lot of effort into figuring out how to make the process efficient for production. The Wings for 424 thread contains a lot of information, but my exact techniques will remain proprietary, at least for the time being.
So I will be paying a couple bucks more a wing for skins.
