RE: Hyperion 260 40e
The electric motor calc that I am using shows the 3226 to be almost exactly the same as the # in the link you posted. On 4s it would be perfect. The stock hyperion motor,the larger scorpion, and the park 46 motors are too big and heavy to be flown on 4s. At that size it NEEDS to be on 5s or the plane will feel really sluggish
So a plane that will only weigh in at a scant 64oz and the 3226-12 puts out around 114oz of thrust static(In flight it will drop to about 87oz but thats at full speed of 60+mph) so the slower you are going the more thrust you will make(hope that makes sence). I guess I am trying to say that motor will ahve plunty of power and thrust for that plane
