I've read a number of posts lately indicating Horizon might not honor the transfer of warranties anymore. Sounds to me like Horizon is only going to honor the receipt if you bought it 1st hand from a retailer. Even if it is new and you get the receipt, if you bought it "used" from an individual they may not honor the warranty.

Thats just rumor though ^^^^^^^^^^^^ I don't want to spread rumors. Just letting you know why I'm so concerned about the original sales receipt. I read it a few times on different boards, so I don't know if it's true or not. I don't want to take the risk though. Thats why I was looking for the best price from a retailer. Get the original receipt and be sure I got the warranty. The likelihood of ever NEEDING that warranty is slim IMO, but sometimes these things do break or need service. With the economy in such poor shape, I'm just trying to cover myself.

I got a PM from a guy accusing me of placing a "Wanted" classified here in this thread. I guess if the mods feel I'm trying to purchase through the forums, they can delete it. Really just looking for the best retail price and didn't mean to set anyone off.

Dons does have a pretty nice price. If thats the best internet price, I will probably just buy it from the LHS for $10 more.
