It would help if the search function didn't suck, and some of the "Official" threads weren't 500+ pages long.

If you type in a word to search for, it returns the threads that have the info you're looking for, but they're always the ones that are 500 pages long, and you can't go straight to the post that has the answer for you. You have to start on page one of the thread, and read through so many other pages that have nothing to do with what you want to know. It's obvious why people post some of the same threads over and over, because its discouraging, and time consuming to read through thousands of other posts trying to find what you want. When it's so much easier to click on that "New Post" button and you get an answer within a few minutes.
