RE: Is it a crime flying R/E only?
Back in the early 70's I had a 72" Mighty Mambo rudder Elevator, and throttle. It had a Super tiger 60 on it. Hand launch at full throttle, then cut back to about 1/4 to 1/3 throttle. I could set it into a slight bank and then place the transmitter on the ground. It would make several large circles before I would ever have to think about picking up the box. Yet it would do slow rolls. loops (inside and outside), it would fly upside down. It was with out a doubt the best flying plane I ever owned. And the greatest thing about it was it was so relaxing to fly.
As I always say I just love to fly. doing lots of stunt flying is OK, but I just like to see them fly around looking like a scale plane. I like R/E but I must admit I also like engine control. I have flown R/E/EN in winds above 20 mph.
