We had several members in our club that did not receive renewals. I would have to agree that something went awry in the renewal mailing.
I have heard that, and have no reason to question it. It's a problem. The OP indicated that he got a communication from AMA, though, instructing him how to renew. I'm not sure what he is complaining about.
