Thanks for all the help. While at work I was doing some thinking and what I decided to do was to exit out the bottom of the plane just behind the landing gear. When on my way home I stop at the LHS at talked to the owner and he said the he could order what I needed to fix my problem a long exhaust deflector. He said he did not think it would heart the performance of the engine so I ordered the part. Here is some photos of what I have so far. Take a look and see if this will be ok.


My 50mile away LHS also maid my day. While looking in his back room trying to find parts I seen a Top Flite P-47-D Thunderbolt Gold edition kit and I ask him about it he and that he was going to take it to a trade show so I said what would you take for this kit I would like to buy it. So he made me a offer that I could not turn down. He sold me this kit for a 100.00 cash so I paid him and all the way home.
