The build seems to be going well. It seems you are trying to avoid butchering the cowl and that is a great idea. However, ensure you have adequate airflow through your cowl to cool the engine or you will be having dead stick after dead stick fideling with the tuning and scratching your head in frustration trying to figure out why it keeps dieing.
