How do you have it set up in the radio? Helicopter or airplane settings? Either will work. If heli, which swash mode? It should be set on "Normal, 1 servo". Set up in one of those settings and re-bind. If that doesn't help, try adding throttle trim until the blades start to spin, then back it off a click or 2 until they stop.
When I got mine, the directions said to use airplane programming and while I see no reason the heli wouldn't work if you figure out the heli settings, it works just fine with it in airplane mode set per directions...
