Default RE: How to know where we posted?

Hello All,

I am still in my study course of how to use this forum.
I clicked on a button that says "post reply".
I could not find a button that would evidently say "new post"

I am not intending in this post to reply to anyone.
No time at this moment.
I simply wish to express the following.

I am grateful to all who have posted to help me but I do not have time at this very momnet to reply to these kind individuals. I will hopefully later today or tomorrow.

One thing I wish to mention . . .
I received an email from John _ _ _ _ reproduced here . . . . .

If you have any further issues, please use the link in the forums or the general help area for the quickest response. If you have a question about this response, just reply to the email.

RC Universe Support

I do not think I am terribly stupid but no matter how much I searched, I do not see such a link when the first page of RC Universe comes up.
I then point to "forum" and from the drop down menu I click "airplanes" and I still cannot find such a link.

I am beginning to think that PERHAPS the software used by this forum is different depending on the operating system we have and thus present the pages differently. I certainly cannot find such a link.

I am using XP pro as an operating system on a DELL professional computer running an Intel CPU at 3 (three) gigahertz. Have 1 (one) gigabytes of RAM and half a giga on the ATI monitor card.

I do not see why or understand that I would see things on my monitor differently than others.

I did not come to RC Universe to be a pest. (please see "mclina" below) I was looking for a forum or thread in which we could discuss the Super Skybolt. I still have not found one. I was referred to a link which is a "build log" which is not a discussion thread. I had seen that thread and had already read that thread before in its entirety while searching for a discussion thread before I was presented with the link.

I try to do my homeworks before disturbing people.

Concerning mclina posting . . .

It's funny, I have been reading this board for over two years, and I have never seen anyone ask these questions. I have alwaus found this board to be very intuitive. We must just think differently.

That certainly explains why so many readers never register to become participants either to seek knowledge or to help others. I was also thinking of helping fellows with a 50 plus years experience of building and flying models.

Please, anyone, just let me know your true feelings. If it is funny, unusual and strange to ask how to maneuver in this forum, I certainly can spend my leisure time designing model airplanes and building them.

This posting is NOT intended to annoy anyone. I am the one who is experiencing frustration.
It should not take any time to learn our way around the forum. All the supplied info by many in the last few days could easily be condensed in a section of the FAQ or an obvious location "how to use the forum". The present FAQ have more to do with business deals than with the hobby.

Best regards to Admin, participants and readers.
