there should be a on/off switch somewhere between the battery and receiver. my guess is he just hooked up the battery directly to the receiver and didn't use one...which will work, but isn't recommended..


at worst you might have to pick up a new electronics kit (depending on what you have).. the new sets come with both servos, receiver, battery pack and controller...the stock electronics are worth replacing if you have a chance anyways......here's a link to a decent set that will probably outlast the car..lol....just copy and paste at ebay - NEW!
