I still wish that the AMA would allow us to opt out of receiving the thing, even if it did not affect the cost of membership. I would rather not receive it, and still pay the full tab for membership, than continue to haul it to the trash can.

I don't know why the AMA doesn't do exactly that. It would save the organization some money.
