Default RE: Omega 40

It looks like the little brother to the Omega 60. Golden Gate Hobbies was the distributor in the US in the 80's of the Digicon products. Omega's were the sister ships to the Atlanta, originally the Atlanta used RE motors and the Omega SE.
Digicon also made some nice hardware that G.G.H. sold during that time. To be more attractive to the sport flyers that liked pattern ships but did't want to invest in a RE motor the Omega was a good fit. In the 1986 version of the Atlanta
Zigsaw eliminated the beam mount in the plane, and went to a conventional mount to rotate the motor on the side instead of inverted so you could also use a SE motor. They recommended using a Great PLanes 60L mount and Hatori #757
header for SE engine. I know alot has been said that the Atlanta's have always had beam mounts but in 1986 there was a change to the engine compartment. Nice find there Free Bird.
