I reviewed the Sullivan unit and I found that went through batteries pretty quickly. I had a 4.8v 1600 Mah battery for a twin engine plane and one or two flights would drain the battery.
Why are you looking for an onboard glow system?? Simply for when you start the plane??

Yeah, the engine will be inside of a cowl and mounted inverted, so I would like an onboard glow for starting mostly.
