Only problem with the mvvs58 is that it is pretty heavy, and to get those big numbers out of it you have to pipe it. I believe that is the way it is quoted in the adds, all on pipes, could be wrong.
rcignition (Ralph) just ran one that he had in for repair, without that pipe I think both 58's are pretty much equal in power. Either way for that matter, but I have never owned the mvvs.
I'm still dinking with my pipe length, and hoping to hit about 34++ lbs static thrust on my old trusty fish scale. I prefer to be in the 2:1 thrust to weight range on my planes[8D]
