Man, I wish I had known about this! I am in Houston and would have loved to have come over for this. Probably would have brought two or three other people with me who all have RC.

Just FYI and I know it is not near you and I hate to say is all parking lot but up at 249 and Grant road there is a hobby store that every Sunday at noon is having a little get together. They create a little makeshift track with PVC tube and it varies from minis to gas powered out there. Does not look as fun as your outing but it happens every week and can get up to about 20 to 30 people!
