First Time Flap Set-Up
I'm getting ready to set up the flaps on my large scale H9 Skylane, and since this is the first time I've done flaps I have a couple of questions.
I've already got the ailerons set up, using separate channels, have 2 channels available for the flaps and plan on doing it this way rather than using a "Y" harness. I'm using a Futaba 7C, and plan on using the 3 position switch (G I believe) for up, partial and flull deployment. Alternatively I could use the variable positon knob that is available. Is one preferable to the other?
Assuming I use the 3 position switch, mapping each servo to that switch is no problem, but how do I set flap travel amount at each of the 2 deployed switch positions. Is there an "end point" adjustment that will become available once I've mapped the switch? Seems to me there should be so that you can make sure flap travel is matched on opposiste sides and not introduce roll due to assymetrical movement. I suspect I'm missing something trivial here.
Thanks.
